Questions You Might Ask or Answer During a Consultation

Your consultation is a chance to see if therapy with me feels like the right fit. Here are some questions you may find helpful to explore:

    • What’s bringing you to therapy right now?

    • What has or hasn’t worked for you in past therapy experiences?

    • What do you hope to get out of therapy?

    • What qualities are you looking for in a therapist?

    • What specialties, education, and experience does the therapist have that are relevant to my needs?

The consultation is your opportunity to ask questions, get clarity, and make sure you feel comfortable before moving forward.
